The Klairs Fundamental Line features five products: Ampule Mist, Watery Oil Drop, Water Gel Cream, Eye Awakening Gel, and the Nourishing Eye Butter. The line was named the “Fundamental Line” because the products were formulated to satisfy the skin’s most basic or fundamental skincare needs. The line is vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, and suitable for all skin types as it is designed to restore moisture deep within the skin. Moreover, the Klairs Fundamental Line has a high concentration of effective ingredients that add long-lasting nutrients to the skin. 82% of these ingredients deliver deep hydration and antioxidizing effects.
The Fundamental Ampule Mist was launched in June 2019. It is a green tea water-based mist, formulated with rice, cucumbers, okra, and mugwort which is effective for intensive hydration and antioxidant care. These ingredients also help the skin achieve smooth and dewy skin with just a few spritzes.
HOW TO USE
After cleansing, spray 2-3 spritz, 20cm away from the face.
Like the Fundamental Ampule Mist, the Fundamental Watery Oil Drop was also launched in the summer of 2019. The Watery Oil Drop is a light, moisturizing serum that has the texture of oil without being sticky and heavy on the skin. Ingredients like Jeju green tea water fill the skin with nutrients to prevent moisture loss while skin-regenerating ingredients such as ceramide, fermented extracts, and peptides keep the skin hydrated and glowing.
HOW TO USE
After cleansing and toning, apply 2-3 drops of the Watery Oil Drop on the face and massage from the face down to the neck.
The Fundamental Eye Care products were the first Klairs eye products to launch. In October 2019, Klairs added the Fundamental Eye Awakening Gel and Nourishing Eye Butter to the fundamental line. The eye gel is a moisturizer for eyes that contains caffeine and red bean extract to maintain your eye area clean and fresh. The eye gel absorbs quickly into the skin and can be used before applying makeup or as a nighttime eye cream.
HOW TO USE
1) Apply toner after cleansing.
2) At your essence step, pump the Eye Awakening Gel 1/2 time and spread it around your eyes, dabbing gently to help them absorb.
3) Finish your routine with a moisturizer.
Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter
The Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter contains sunflower seed oil that’s rich in vitamin A and vitamin E to nourish the area around your eyes. Other ingredients include peptides (Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Copper Tripeptide-1, Oligopeptide-29, Oligopeptides-32) which help improve the fine lines. The butter-like texture melts into the delicate eye area, reducing the appearance of fine lines and dark circles.
HOW TO USE
1) Apply toner after cleansing.
2) At your moisturizer step, apply an adequate amount of the product around your eyes.
3) Finish your routine with a face moisturizer.
The Fundamental Gel Cream was the last product added to the Klairs Fundamental Line in June 2020. The gel cream contains 63.7% Jeju Green Tea Water and Panthenol to provide moisture and deep hydration. More water-based moisturizing ingredients were added over oil-based ingredients to minimize an oily finish. Although the texture is light and gel-like, the cream quickly absorbs into the skin and keeps moisture locked in.

After cleansing, apply an adequate amount and apply at the last stage of your skincare routine.
